While attending a baseball game on a typical hot and humid summer evening at Baltimore's Camden Yards Ballpark, I could not help becoming inspired by the afternoon light pouring through the ballparks superstructure onto the field. I am both a baseball fan and a fan of "light" so this was the perfect storm of inspiration for me! I hope my painting "Foul Ball" will conjure up memories of lazy summer nights, cold drinks, hot dogs and our favorite American pastime. Enjoy!
